LSAB 2018 Annual Conference – ‘Safeguarding and Dementia’, Gurnard Pines

The Isle of Wight Safeguarding Adults Board Annual Conference was held on Wednesday 7 March 2018 at Gurnard Pines. The annual conference is the highlight of our year and was an opportunity to hear from local and national experts, share best practice and celebrate our work. 

The focus of this year’s event was on Safeguarding and Dementia, with national and local experts sharing best practice on how to support people living with dementia on the Isle of Wight. National speakers included Professor Jill Manthorpe, Sam Clark and Professor Keith Brown. The local picture was provided by our LAC Network and by Trading Standards IWASP Team.
