Emotional symptoms of traumatic stress include:
Shock, fear, grief, helplessness, and anger.
Physical symptoms include:
Feeling dizzy or faint, stomach churning, excessive sweating, shaking, cold sweats, rapid breathing, pounding heart, even chest pains or difficulty breathing.
Changes in your sleeping patterns and perhaps insomnia or nightmares, loss or increase in appetite.
