This course is for professionals working with parents and carers.

Course aims
This session aims to develop your understanding of coercive and controlling behaviour (CCB) and the impact it has on victims and their families.

Intended impact
This session aims to develop your understanding of coercive and controlling behaviour (CCB) and the impact it has on victims and their families. By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  • Identify red flags in a controlling relationship.
  • Understand the terminology used around Domestic abuse and CCB.
  • Explore the question, why don’t victims leave?
  • Discussing the links between CCB and stalking. Know how and where to refer victims to for support.
