“Right Help, Right Time” – IOW Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Workshop for multi-agency professionals

From the 24th February 2025 the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) arrangements for Isle of Wight children and families are being provided by Isle of Wight Children’s Services.

This workshops gives an important opportunity for multi-agency partners to understand the role and function of the new MASH arrangements, how they will operate and “meet” some members of the team.

It is available FREE to all professionals working with Island children and families through the Isle of Wight Safeguarding Children Partnership.

Learning outcomes:

  • To understand the role and function of the Isle of Wight Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)
  • What happens to information when it is received by MASH
  • The purpose of MASH and how it operates
  • What you can expect from MASH and expectations of multi-agency partners.

Workshops will be held via MS Teams on:

  • Wednesday 5th March 10am-11am
  • Wednesday 12th March 10.30am-11.30am
  • Thursday 20th March 3.30pm-4.30pm
  • Wednesday 26th March 10am-11am
  • Thursday 3rd April 3.30pm-4.30pm

UPDATE: Due to popular demand, the IOW Safeguarding Children Partnership is pleased to be able to offer additional sessions in May, June and July:

  • Thursday 8th May, 3.30-4.30pm
  • Tuesday 10th June, 10.30-11.30am
  • Tuesday 8th July, 1.30-2.30pm
